I finally found Idaho's beauty...

So, for an adventure one Saturday we decided to try and find the beauty that is otherwise unknown to me here in Idaho... until I saw this place. It is called the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway, and it is a 30 mile turn off from highway 20, about an hour south of West Yellowstone... It reminded me a lot of Yellowstone actually, but a lot less crowded... which is a plus! It actually felt like like fall while we were there, seeing all the leaves changing colors and the cool breeze we enjoyed... until it started raining of course...

We stopped off a couple of times mostly because my best friend ashley is a photo major and took some amazing pictures... but we also found some trails and explored the wilderness for a little bit... but the main attractions are the two waterfalls that are located along the route... the lower falls were pretty far away from the lookout but still awesome... but the Upper falls were amazing, and I could have stood there for hours listening to the roar of the water and the watching it fall... of course thats when it started raining... but we were able to have a picnic under the shelter of a covered porch not far off and enjoy ourselves in the visitor center. Also, my friend Jared knew of a mountain spring that was a couple miles up the road and we were able to climb that in the rain too! The water was quite refreshing though after such a long day!

All in all it was a much needed get away day trip for all of us, and I was happily surprised at how beautiful Idaho can actually be!

This is a far off shot of the Upper Falls, we actually got to walk up right next to it on the walk way, but this really shot really shows everything..

This is the Lower Falls...

All of us... Rachael, Eden, Ashley and I in NATURE! :)

It started raining, but we loved every minute of it!

Jared brought a little keepsake home of the great tasting spring water!! It was awesome.. it NEVer got warm!!

Only us...

So I know I havent updated this in QUITE a long time... but it has been a little crazy with ya know, CLASSES. but for a few minutes, I have decided I would like a break...

And as usual, I can tell the story of my life in pictures...

I like to take advantage of beautiful Rexburg weather, so we had a picnic at the park!

One time, there was this time when we got to visit Rachael at work. Fortunately for us, she works at Sports Authority...

Then while in Idaho Falls, we decided to have some fun in Target... in the kid's chair aisle. for about an hour and a half.

And then there was our trip to Utah in one night to see Jessica before she left on her mission!

Needless to say, I have had my share of adventures in the past couple weeks... and classes have been kicking my butt... but i am enjoying every minute of it! Like tomorrow, I get to go to Mesa Falls Scenic Byway with waterfall that looks like a mini Niagra Falls :) I'm sure I'll slap some pictures up for your viewing pleasure in the future....

Prov-Hoe and Why?oming

So for my last week of freedom before classes begin for my senior year, I have been spending it with the people that I love... my sister... and the Isenhour's. While I was in Provo, UT moving Stephanie in, we were able to have some adventures and a little fun while also getting lost around town and making fun of Utah girls...

Like going to my favorite restaurant in Utah..
Cafe Rio...

And picking up some Chic-fi-la biscuits for breakfast in South Jordan, to remember old times :)

and walking aimlessly around BYU campus until we found a map...

And now, I'm up in Evanston, WY enjoying relaxing with my 3rd set of parents, Scott and Sheri.. and Jackie my bro/bff. Fortunately for me, I got here just in time to enjoy all the rain, hail, sleet and snow that we experienced all in ONE DAY here in wonderful wide open west... but now its beautiful outside, although I still am wearing a sweater because its barely 60... but it has been wonderful talking and laughing with Sheri, watching Arrested Development and Disney shows with Jackie, eating wonderful home cooked food, sleeping in, and just enjoying Being. Like when Sheri says "Lets go do something" it means "Lets go to Walmart" and how there are absolutely no stop signs in neighborhoods.... and how its really exciting that the Maverick has Krispy Kreme donuts AND a Redbox... and how I can call it "The Mav" and everyone here would know what I'm talking about. Let's just say that Evanston is an amazing town :)

But alas, tomorrow it will all end when I head back to good ol Rexburg, ID and start my final year there... but I have so many people that I love and cherish out here, I wouldnt trade that for the world... it is going to be a great semester.... :)
